Write a scene in:

1st person. (e.g. I [we] walked over to the window)

Rewrite it in 2nd person. (e.g. You walked over to the window)

Rewrite it in 3rd person. (e.g. They [he, she, it] walked over to the window)

Which one was easiest to write, sounds better for the scene or which combination would work better for the scene.

It can be as short or long as you wish.

Using three of the items below create a story, between 500 and 1000 words.

Here are a few first lines.  This is just a starting point, who knows where it will take you.

The doorbell rang.  John Smith was not expecting anyone.  He put down his newspaper next to his chair and got up to answer the door.  When he opened the door he found on the doorstep.

Jane unpacked the large cardboard box that she had just purchased at the auction.  It was mainly filled with junk but at the bottom she found a woodern box.  It was covered in crystals and gold inlay.  Carefully she opened the box.  Inside she found......

The cheque had come in the morning post.  It would change everything......
